Novus Leisure is the UK’s largest private, bar and club operator, with its sites dominating London’s West End and City districts, as well as operating its Tiger Tiger brand in nine towns up and down the Country.

The business was founded in 1999, yet continues to develop sales through its existing sites, new joint venture (JV) opportunities as well as seeking to expand the number of sites it operates.

The key brand is latenightlondon.co.uk, which, with a dedicated sales team, drives a significant amount of the total revenue through corporate events, private functions and pre-booked dining. Operating the UK’s largest scale venues, with capacity of up to 2500 customers, Novus Leisure continues to focus on driving sales throughout the trading day.

From enjoying high food sales during lunch and into the early evening before the “volume” gets turned up and the venues become the perfect places for dance and entertainment into the late night or early morning. Recently Novus Leisure has entered into a number of JV’s with well known entrepreneurs to create new ideas for the business and to drive innovation.

Recent successes have included Lucky Voice, a high-end karaoke offer, supported by Martha Lane Fox, the co-founder of lastminute.com and Kanaloa, a Polynesian tropical experience, which is a partnership with the investors and team behind Mahiki, including Nick House and Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding. New opportunities will continue to be sought, be they JV’s or new sites to lease and operate.

The Novus focus on customer service and pre-booked events means that they are in a unique position within the UK’s bar scene and will continue to grow from the excellent operating platform that is in place.
